If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, and then make the decision that you would like us to represent you in your ICBC claims, you will sign what is called a contingency fee agreement, which means that you do not pay any money at the start of your ICBC claim, you do not pay any money throughout the course of your ICBC claim, and you do not pay any money until your ICBC claim has been settled. In reality, no money ever leaves your pockets, as our legal fee comes out of the ICBC settlement funds obtained on your behalf at the conclusion of your ICBC claims.

 

Our contingency fee is 20%, no matter what stage your ICBC claims are settled at. This is the lowest fee in British Columbia for a motor vehicle accident. Be wary of other law firms who charge a fee on a graduated scale, meaning they take more of your money if your ICBC claims go to an Examination for Discovery, they take more of your money if your ICBC claims settle just before trial, and they take more of your money if your ICBC claims actually go to trial. Unlike most other law firms, we also do not charge interest on the disbursements incurred on your behalf throughout the course of your ICBC claims.
